The signs of spring bring a sense of joy and relief to many of our hearts. After months of being cooped up indoors, the sound of lambs bleating and the sight of sprouting daffodils reassures us that brighter days are on the horizon. Sunday past marked the start of spring, and to celebrate, we are highlighting five spring styling trends we think you should take note of.
Going Green
As the bushes gain green buds and the green stems push up through the grass, we are reminded of the new life that spring offers. Green is a colour of hope, of future joys to come, and is a welcome relief from winter’s dark and rich colours. Imitating nature by incorporating a green palette into your home at this time of year will help you to feel renewed and excited for all that is yet to come.
Feeling Floral
Whilst less abundant than in the summer, the spring brings a marvellous offering of bright and bold flowers to cheer our hearts. Think of crocuses, snow drops, daffodils, and hyacinths, to name but a few. It is certainly advisable to ensure your vases are filled with fresh spring flowers at this time of year. Why not add some floral accessories to your space to lean into this spring style? Cushions are a brilliant and affordable way of updating your space; maybe check out what Florabunda has to offer. Or if you’re feeling more adventurous, why not consider a floral wallpaper - ideal for keeping a spring in your step all year round!
Light and Bright
As well as the flora and fauna, spring brings with it lighter mornings and longer evenings. It’s always rather lovely to put our days of hibernation to one side and replace them with evening walks. Our home should reflect this seasonal change. Be sure to accessorise with bright and light accessories, incorporating mirrors and decluttering spaces as you can. A light palette, with natural tones, will help to reflect the longer days.
