These pieces are then shaped and refined to create a lifelike Highland Cow figure. Wooden branches are hammered and split into fur-like pieces, before being individually attached to the body and head using a nail gun. Next, we give Hewie a beautifully groomed finish by trimming down any particularly long branches.
